About Sebastien Martineau

Sebastien Martineau has been working in the personal and group development field for over 12 years. Sebastien is a psychologist and Aikido teacher. Following studies at Oxford and the University of Kent, Sebastien pursued a 7 year career as a manager at the UK Defence Logisitics Organisation, in charge of Defence-critical equipment from manufacturer to front-line, while also studying Aikido full-time.

In the last 12 years, Sebastien has worked as a trainer on leadership and management development programs for major multi-national companies across Europe. He has worked in major leadership and organisational development programs for companies such as Microsoft, Vodafone, Merck, BNP Paribas, Olympus, Astra Zenica, Gefco, Ikea and for governmental organisations such as UK educational authorities and the European Parliament. Following an Executive MA in Positive Leadership and Strategy at IE Business School in 2014, Sebastien is among the foremost expert practitioners in the application of Positive Psychology to Business growth and development in the region.

With a focus on embodiment, happiness, positive psychology & leadership, and remote leadership, Sebastien delivers training from the perspective of his strong management experience combined with his academic background in Psychology and thousands of hours spent training diverse groups in Aikido and other disciplines. This has given him a relaxed and engaging training style, aimed at bringing the participants to lasting and applicable insights. Sebastien is bilingual (English and French) and can deliver the same training content in either language. 

Today, Sebastien offers coaching and facilitation services, through UP4ALL, to companies and decision-makers, aimed at empowering exceptional performance in individuals and teams, as well as consulting services on establishing positive enabling cultures in the workplace and in company leadership teams.
