About Kathleen Renehan
Art as medicine
Kathleen Renehan is an Expressive Art Specialist and Art Coach with the International Montessori School of Prague (IMSP). Kathleen is originally from New York, where she taught Art to people with learning and developmental disabilities prior to joining IMSP. She received her Montessori Teacher's certification for both Primary (3-6) and Lower Elementary (6-9) at the Princeton Montessori Center for Teacher Training. Before that, she had graduated from Stonehill College in Massachusetts majoring in Early Childhood, as well as receiving a minor in Psychology and Fine Arts.
When she is not at school, Kathleen works as a Life Coach and NLP Practitioner . She is passionate about the Arts as a method of further discovery and exploration of the self. Kathleen is also very interested in Values Work, Positive Psychology and Self Development as a way to delve deeper and further evolve ourselves. She has spoken at TEDx about living beyond labels that have been placed upon us and coming home to our true authentic selves.
